IP QoS

This page lists all IP QoS profiles that have been defined on the controller. Each profile lets you map traffic to a specific QoS priority queue based on protocol type and port number. For example, you could map all UDP traffic on port 23 (telnet) to queue 4 (low priority).

To make use of a profile, it must be assigned in a WLAN profile.

Actions

  • Add: Adds a new IP QoS profile. See Quality of Service.

  • Delete: Deletes the selected IP QoS profile.

IP QoS table

  • Name: Name that identifies the profile on the controller.

  • Protocol: Indicates the IANA (Internet Assigned Numbers Authority) protocol number that this profile uses to classify traffic. Common protocols such as ICMP, IGMP, TCP, UDP, or L2TP are identified parenthetically. An entry of - indicates that the profile classifies traffic based on port number only.

  • Port: Indicates the first port number in a range of ports to which this profile applies. An entry of 0 indicates that the profile classifies traffic based on IP protocol only.

  • Priority: Indicates the priority level assigned to traffic that matches the criteria specified by the profile.
