Welcome to HP Helion CloudSystem Operations Console Help

HP Helion CloudSystem

HP Helion CloudSystem delivers an enterprise private cloud in HP Converged Infrastructure environments. CloudSystem consists of two offerings.

  • HP Helion CloudSystem Foundation is based on the HP Helion OpenStack distribution of OpenStack cloud software. It integrates hardware and software to deliver core Infrastructure as a Service (IaaS) provisioning and lifecycle management of compute, network and storage resources. You manage CloudSystem from its Operations Console and its CLIs. You develop, deploy and scale cloud applications using the OpenStack user portal and the OpenStack APIs and CLIs. You can also deploy HP Helion Development Platform on top of HP Helion CloudSystem Foundation to use its Platform as a Service (PaaS) features in your cloud applications.

  • HP Helion CloudSystem Enterprise adds features in HP Cloud Service Automation (HP CSA) that integrate servers, storage, networking, security, and management to automate the lifecycle for hybrid service delivery. Application architects can use Enterprise to create application and infrastructure templates and publish them as offerings in a service catalog. Users select offerings from a catalog and request provisioning of a new service instance, or subscription. When a service is requested, Enterprise automatically provisions the servers, storage, and networking into the subscription.

Enterprise includes an embedded version of HP Operations Orchestration (OO) for automating administrative processes as well as an enhanced set of Operations Orchestration workflows.
