System does not boot from the SD or microSD card

Symptom

The system is not booting from the drive.

Cause

• The drive boot order is not set to boot from the SD or microSD card.
• The SD or microSD card is not detected by HPE iLO.
• The SD or microSD card is not seated properly.

Action

1. Be sure the drive boot order in the UEFI System Utilities is set so that the server boots from the SD or microSD card.
2. Use the HPE iLO web interface to verify that the SD card is detected by HPE iLO.
3. Remove all power from the server. Reseat the SD or microSD card, and then power on the server.
