To create a localized Linux scripted install OS Build Plan

Save a copy of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided Create Red Hat
xxxx
Default KS.cfg (or SUSE) configuration file wherexxxx
is the Red Hat Linux version. Change its name to reflect the language to be installed. -
Edit the script. Change the necessary fields to align with the locale and language. As an example for Red Hat, change
lang
,langsupport
,keyboard
,timezone
, and add the appropriate package. As an example for SUSE, changelanguage
,keyboard/keymap
, andtimezone

Save a copy of the Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided Linux OS Build Plan, changing its name to reflect the language to be installed.

Select Edit for the Create Red Hat xxxx Default KS.cfg (or SUSE file) step to be replaced.

Select the new configuration file you created to replace the default file. Any parameters associated with the original configuration file are preserved.
