The OS Build Plan Overview screen displays information associated with the Build Plan selected in the master pane list of build plans. This screen is a read-only view.

NOTE: The Build Plans provided by Insight Control server provisioning are read-only, so you cannot edit those Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided Build Plans. Instead, save the Build Plan to a new name by selecting Actions→Save as from the OS Build Plans screens and then edit the copy. |

To create a new Build Plan, click Create OS Build Plan on the top left in the navigation pane or select Actions→Create OS Build Plan from any OS Build Plan screen (see Create or Edit OS Build Plans).
To edit a Build Plan, select Actions→Edit or select 
in the General, Steps or Custom Attributes panel or screen (see Create or Edit OS Build Plans).
The OS Build Plans Overview screen shows general information, OS Build Plans steps and custom attributes associated with the Build Plan. To view more details on the Build Plan, select General from the View menu or select General> in the Overview screen. To view detailed information on the steps for a particular Build Plan, select Steps from the View menu or select Steps> in the Overview screen. To view a full page history of actions on a particular Build plan, select History from the View menu.
In the heading at the top of the OS Build Plans screens, there are filter selectors that enable you to control which Build Plans are displayed in the navigation pane. You can filter data on the OS Build Plans screens by Source (Hewlett Packard Enterprise provided or User-provided).
