Update the firmware for Virtual Connect interconnects configured for Fibre Channel networks

The interconnect firmware must be upgraded first if you have an enclosure with a Virtual Connect interconnect configured for Fibre Channel networks and you want to bring the enclosure under management of the appliance.

Prerequisites

  • Privileges: Network administrator or Infrastructure administrator

  • Minimum supported interconnect firmware version is required if you have a Virtual Connect interconnect configured to use Fibre Channel and IPv6 addresses in an enclosure.

  • Minimum supported interconnect firmware version is required if you have a Virtual Connect interconnect in an enclosure by itself or with other Virtual Connect interconnects only.

For minimum supported interconnect firmware versions, see HPE OneView Support Matrix.
