Resolve connectivity issues between the appliance and server hardware

You can manually refresh the connection between the appliance and server hardware by using the Refresh option on the Actions menu. Refresh server hardware if it has lost connectivity or if it is not synchronized with the appliance. Connectivity loss can occur during normal appliance operation. Modifying a device outside of the appliance can cause the device to become unsynchronized with the appliance. See About server hardware to learn more.

NOTE:

Hewlett Packard Enterprise does not recommend using the iLO or the OA to modify a device. Doing so can cause the device to become unsynchronized with the appliance.

IMPORTANT:

For HPE Superdome Flex Server, when you forcibly add a rack manager into another appliance, no alert is displayed on the former appliance. But, refresh and other operations on rack manager or server hardware fail on the former appliance and an error message is displayed indicating connectivity issues.
