If you need an ID pool of MAC addresses, WWNs, or serial numbers within a specific range (for example, to take advantage of available subnets), you can create custom ranges where you specify the starting and stopping addresses.
Prerequisites
Minimum required privileges: Network administrator (virtual MAC addresses and virtual WWNs), Infrastructure administrator (all ID types)
Procedure

From the main menu, select
Settings.

Click
Edit in the
Addresses and Identifiers panel.

Click the
Add custom range button associated with the type of address or identifier you want to modify.

Do one of the following:
Enter the starting and ending address. (The count is calculated automatically.) Click in the
Count box to display the number of addresses to be generated.
Enter the starting address and count. (The ending address is calculated automatically.) Click in the
To (end address) box to display the ending address of the range to be generated.

OK.
