View FIPS or CNSA compatibility report screen details

From this section, you can do the following tasks:

  • Assess the impact of a cryptography mode change.
  • View the supported protocols and cipher suites for the chosen cryptography mode.
  • View the appliance certificates that are not compatible with the chosen cryptography mode.
  • View details of external servers that are not compatible with the chosen cryptography mode.
  • View list of managed devices that are not compatible with the chosen cryptography mode.
  • View the actions required, if any, on the appliance to make it operate in the chosen mode.
  • View the actions required, if any, on the managed devices or external servers to continue managing or communicating with them in the chosen mode.
  • View the behavior expected of managed devices and external servers if they cannot be made compliant with the chosen mode.
  • View the services or functionality that are not available in the chosen mode.

Description

Compatibility Report section
Overview Displays Print report to print the details of the compatibility report.
Protocols and Cipher suites Displays the protocols and cipher suites supported by the selected cryptography mode.
Appliance Certificates Lists the appliance certificates (Web server certificate, RabbitMQ client and RabbitMQ server certificates) that are not compatible with the chosen cryptography mode. It also displays any issues with the certificates and resolutions, if any.
External Servers Displays the external servers that are not compatible with the current cryptography mode.
Managed Devices Displays various entities (storage devices, network devices, servers/enclosures) managed by HPE OneView that are not compatible with the chosen cryptography mode. It also displays any issues with the managed devices and solutions to make the device FIPS or CNSA-compliant.
Update Updates an existing compatibility report.

For a complete list of ciphers and algorithms supported in the legacy, FIPS and CNSA modes, see Algorithm and ciphers for securing the appliance in the HPE OneView User Guide available on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Information Library.
