Refresh and other operations on rack manager or server hardware are not successful in HPE OneView for Superdome Flex servers

Symptom

For HPE Superdome Flex Server, refresh and other operations on rack manager or server hardware fail repeatedly and an error message is displayed indicating connectivity issues.

Cause

One of the following possible causes:

  • Rack manager is added forcibly into another appliance.
  • Rack Management Controller (RMC) is down.
  • Change in IP address or user credentials for RMC.
Action
  1. If the operation fails repeatedly, refresh the rack manager from the Rack Managers page.
    NOTE:

    If the refresh operation fails, an error message is displayed with additional information pertaining to the connectivity issue.

  2. To resolve the issue, follow the instructions in the error message.
