LAG flap detection and notification

Link Aggregation Group (LAG) flap detection and notification is available on HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module for HPE Synergy and HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy interconnects.

LAG flapping is a condition in which the ports that are part of LAG have gone down and come up in quick succession. When LAG flapping is detected either on uplink ports or downlink ports, alerts are displayed on the Interconnects screen. The alert lists the ports that triggered the LAG flapping. These alerts are cleared automatically if the flapping is not detected for a predefined amount of time.

NOTE:

Downlink ports must be associated with a Virtual Port Link Aggregation Groups (VPLAG) ID to detect if the LAG is flapping.
