This section describes the prerequisites for each of the configurations required for creating and configuring a server profile template. Ensure that the prerequisites are met to create a customized server profile template successfully.
- General
Server hardware is added to HPE OneView for management or one or more enclosures are imported correctly into HPE OneView. If a server hardware is added for monitoring, a server profile cannot be assigned to it.

The imported firmware bundles are included in the Firmware baseline list. To import firmware bundles, use the Firmware Bundles screen.
- Connections
One or more networks are defined. Ethernet, Fibre Channel, and FCoE networks are supported.

The logical enclosure group contains a logical interconnect group that describes the configuration of the Virtual Connect modules.
The logical enclosure group is applied to the physical enclosures to create a logical enclosure.
- Brocade SAN Switch for HPE BladeSystem c-Class or Fibre Channel connections for rack servers
Fibre Channel networks with "Fabric attach" fabric type are present.
