Description

Logical interconnect

Logical interconnect to which the physical interconnect belongs.

Not applicable for monitored interconnects.

Interconnect power

Power status of the interconnect.

State

Current state of the interconnect.

Firmware baseline

The HPE Service Pack for ProLiant (SPP) firmware bundle assigned to the interconnect.

Not applicable for monitored interconnects.

Firmware version from baseline

Firmware version from the installed SPP baseline for the interconnect. For example, 4.10.

Not applicable for monitored interconnects.

Installed firmware version

Firmware version currently installed for the interconnect. For example, 4.10.

Not applicable for monitored interconnects.

Management interface

For interconnects not directly managed by HPE OneView, some support an embedded management interface. When available, you can launch that management console using the link provided.

NOTE:

When using the system console, accessing an interconnect’s remote management interface is not supported. The interconnect’s management URL will be displayed as text, and not as a link. If required, you can access the interconnect’s serial (command line) interface when on the console.

Internet Explorer is required by Brocade to access the management interface. Consult the Brocade Web Tools Administrator’s Guide for more details.

Stacking domain ID

A unique logical interconnect identifier generated by HPE OneView. HPE OneView uses the Stacking Domain ID in the formation of a group of aggregated interconnects into a single layer 2 domain for network connectivity. The Stacking Domain ID is transmitted by an interconnect to its neighbor and contributes to the decision of whether or not a single layer 2 domain should form. The layer 2 domain is also referred to as a stacking domain.

Stacking member ID

A unique interconnect identifier generated by HPE OneView. HPE OneView uses the Stacking Member ID to denote a specific interconnect in the formation of an aggregated logical interconnect stacking domain.

1 indicates the master interconnect.

Stacking domain role

(for HPE Virtual Connect SE 40Gb F8 Module for HPE Synergy and HPE Virtual Connect SE 100Gb F32 Module for HPE Synergy only)

The role of the interconnect in the logical interconnect stacking domain.

Master

The interconnect designated as the master to manage and maintain the logical interconnect stacking domain.

Subordinate

The interconnect designated is a subordinate or backup to the master switch.

MultiActive

Denotes an interconnect that was isolated from the stacking domain and is attempting to recover and rejoin the stacking domain.

Interconnect host name

The DNS name is prepopulated at the factory.

IPv4

IPv4 address for the interconnect.

Not applicable for Frame Link Module.

IPv6

IPv6 addresses for the interconnect. Link local addresses (LLAs) are listed first, followed by static or DHCP addresses and then Stateless address auto configuration (SLAAC) if enabled.

Not applicable for Frame Link Module.
