Defining Image Streamer uplink sets in logical interconnect groups — multiframe configuration
When you add or edit an Image Streamer uplink set to support connections to Image Streamer in a multiframe configuration, you designate the following attributes:
A name
Type — Image Streamer
The Image Streamer deployment network
Four uplink ports
- The top two port selectors are filtered to only include only ports from the A side interconnect module.
- The bottom two port selectors are filtered to only include only ports from the B side interconnect module.
For Frame Link Modules in the same HPE Synergy 12000 Frame with an Image Streamer, you must connect MGMT port 1 to the A side interconnect and MGMT port 2 to the B side interconnect. The following table illustrates this cross-connection of the four MGMT ports when using the HPE Dual 10GBASE-T QSFP+ 30m RJ45 Transceiver.

When creating a logical interconnect group with an uplink set for Image Streamer in a multiframe configuration, Hewlett Packard Enterprise strongly recommends setting the Redundancy mode as follows:
High Availability — If the A-side and B-side master interconnect modules are in different enclosures.
Redundant — If the A-side and B-side master interconnect modules are in the same enclosure.
In both multi- and single frame configurations, you cannot delete an Image Streamer uplink set from a logical interconnect group if the logical interconnect group is associated with an enclosure group that has OS deployment configured.
