Apply a license to a managed interconnect

Prerequisites

Privileges: Infrastructure administrator, Network administrator

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select NETWORKING > Logical Interconnects or Logical Interconnect Groups.
    NOTE:

    If you select Logical interconnect Groups, the license will not be applied until you select Actions > Update from group from the logical interconnect or logical enclosure.

  2. Select a logical enclosure and select Actions > Edit.
  3. Click Add uplink set.

    The Create Uplink Set dialog box displays.

  4. For Type, select Fibre Channel.
  5. Enter the other data requested on the screen.
  6. Click Create to create the uplink set.
  7. Click OK to save the edits to the logical interconnect or logical interconnect group.
  8. View the master pane to verify that the uplink set was created.
  9. Verify the license was applied.
    1. From the main menu, select Settings.
    2. Select Licenses and view the license status chart to confirm that the bay is licensed.
