Collect remote support data for servers

You can collect remote support data that is automatically sent to Hewlett Packard Enterprise for analysis. Only basic information can be collected from a server.

NOTE:

You cannot collect remote support data for devices which are in the maintenance mode. You can enable or disable the maintenance mode of a server hardware device from SERVERS > Server Hardware > Actions.

Prerequisites
  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator, Server administrator, or Server firmware operator

  • Remote support is enabled for this server

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select SERVERS > Server Hardware.
  2. Select the server for which you want to collect remote support data.
  3. Select Actions > Collect remote support data.
  4. Select Basic or Active Health.
  5. Select Yes, collect data.
  6. Verify the data collection status in the details pane or the activity screen.
