Remove an SNMPv3 user

Prerequisites
  • Privileges: Infrastructure administrator or Network administrator

Procedure
  1. From the main menu, select NETWORKING > Logical Interconnects or Logical Interconnect Groups, select the logical interconnect, and then do one of the following:
    1. Select Actions > Edit.
    2. Click the Edit icon.
  2. In the SNMP view, click the Remove icon adjacent to the SNMPv3 user to remove.
    NOTE:

You cannot remove an SMNPv3 user if associated with one or more trap destinations. Remove the associated trap destinations first. Alternatively, edit the trap destinations to specify a different user, and then remove the SMNPv3 user. You must have an SNMPv3 user to configure SNMPv3 traps.

  3. Click Yes, remove.
  4. Click OK to update the logical interconnect or logical interconnect group.
  5. To verify the SNMPv3 user was removed, go to SNMP view.
