Firmware baseline

If the baseline is displayed, the firmware baseline is defined for enclosures, server profiles, and logical interconnects. If the version of firmware is blank, the baseline is not defined.

NOTE:

By default, the server hardware components are collapsed. The server hardware components are displayed when the server hardware is expanded.

Status

The firmware version in the selected firmware baseline is compared against the installed version in the components and the status is displayed:

  • Update to baseline value — Baseline is available in the selected firmware bundle. The baseline value is displayed and the baseline values for each component is displayed.

    • If there is a server profile assigned to the server hardware, the server profile baseline is displayed.

    • If there is no server profile assigned to the server hardware, the logical enclosure baseline is displayed.

  • n/a — Firmware is not applied as the firmware is not managed by the Smart Update Manager (SUM).

  • OK — Selected baseline firmware or newer version is installed.

  • Not set — Firmware baseline is not set on the resource.

    • If the server profile baseline is Not set and logical enclosure firmware update is not complete. The individual server hardware firmware versions are displayed, the baseline versions are not displayed.

    • If the server profile baseline is Not set and the logical enclosure firmware update includes the profile, enclosure, or the logical interconnect, the baseline at the time of update (which may be different than the current logical enclosure baseline) is displayed. Also, both the installed firmware versions and the applied baseline are displayed for the server hardware.

  • Removed — Associated firmware bundle is removed from the HPE OneView repository.
