Prepare for remote support registration

Procedure
  1. To enable Insight Online, create an HPE Passport account if you do not have one already.

    Enter Passport and Password to optionally enable Insight Online on the HPE Support Center. HPE Insight Online provides cloud-based infrastructure management enabling you to access your IT information anytime, anywhere. Track service events and support cases, as well as, contract and warranty status for all your remote support devices, whether connected by HPE OneView remote support or Insight Remote Support.

  2. Set the web proxy
  3. Collect the following information:
    • Contact information

    • Site information including address, time zone, and site name.

    • Channel Partner IDs for your support specialist, reseller/distributor, and installer if you want to allow them to view your device information.
