Reinstalling an unmanaged interconnect with a stale IP address
If you remove an unmanaged interconnect with a static IP address from an enclosure before the associated logical enclosure is deleted, and later re-insert the interconnect into the same bay and enclosure after the logical enclosure is deleted, the unmanaged interconnect can retain its now stale IP address.
Reinstalling an unmanaged interconnect with an IP address that is stale
Do one of the following:
Create a new logical enclosure with an enclosure group addressing mode of either address pool (static) or DHCP.
Manually clear or reconfigure the IP address configuration using the interconnect's native management interface.
Move the interconnect to a different bay or a different enclosure, and then return it back to the desired bay and enclosure.
