FlexibleLOM option

To install the component:

1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
   1. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
   2. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Extend the server from the rack.
4. Remove the access panel.
5. Remove the primary PCIe riser cage.
6. Remove the FlexibleLOM PCIe blank, if present.

   

7. Install the component:
   1. Firmly seat the FlexibleLOM in the slot.
   2. Tighten the thumbscrew.

      

8. Install the access panel.
9. Install the server into the rack.
10. Connect the LAN segment cables.
11. Connect each power cord to the server.
12. Connect each power cord to the power source.
13. Power up the server.
