Editing network interface settings

You can edit various iLO network interface settings from the two tabs on the Network Interfaces screen: Manager Dedicated Network Interface and Manager Shared Network Interface.

TIP:

To display a field description, hover the pointer over the field until the info tip is displayed. For more detailed information about the tab fields, see the HPE iLO 5 User Guide.

  • To edit manager dedicated network interface settings:

    1. On the iLO Configuration Utility screen, click Network Interfaces.

      The Manager Dedicated Network Interface tab information appears.

    2. Edit the options.

    3. Click Configure Manager Dedicated Network Interface in the upper right portion of the iLO Configuration screen to save changes.

  • To edit Manager Shared Network Interface settings:

    1. On the iLO Configuration Utility screen, click Network Interfaces.

    2. Click Manager Shared Network Interface.

    3. Edit the options.

    4. Click Configure Manager Shared Network Interface in the upper right portion of the iLO Configuration screen to save changes.
