Drive support information

Depending on the drive cage installed, the server supports the following drive types:

• Non-hot-plug LFF SATA drives

• Hot-plug LFF SATA or SAS drives

• Hot-plug SFF SATA or SAS drives

The server supports up to 16 drives in SFF configuration and 8 drives in LFF configuration.

The embedded HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10 Controller supports SATA drive installation. For SAS support, install a type-p standup plug-in Smart Array controller option.
