Drive support information

Depending on the drive cage option installed, the server supports the following drive types:

• Non-hot-plug LFF SATA drives

• Hot-plug LFF SATA or SAS drives

• Hot-plug SFF SATA or SAS drives (using the Smart Carrier)

• Hot-plug NVMe SSDs (using the Smart Carrier NVMe)

This server supports mixed LFF + SFF hot-plug drive configurations.

The embedded HPE Smart Array S100i SR Gen10 Controller supports SATA drive installation. For SAS support, install a Smart Array Gen10 type-a or type-p controller option.
