Setting the maximum PCI Express speed

Prerequisites

Power Profile is set to Custom.

Procedure
  1. From the System Utilities screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Power Management > Advanced Power Options > Maximum PCI Express Speed and press Enter.
  2. Select a setting and press Enter.
    1. Maximum Supported — Configures the platform to run at the maximum speed supported by the platform or the PCIe device (whichever is lower.)
    2. PCIe Generation 1.0 — Configures the platform to run at PCIe Generation 1.0, the lowest speed possible in the PCIe links.
  3. Press F10.
