Symptom

281-IMPORTANT: SW12 is ON indicating physical presence. This switch should only be ON to override certain security protections. Action: Power down the server and put SW12 OFF if physical presence is not required.

Cause

The SW12 switch is set to ON.

Action

If physical presence is not required, power down the server and set the SW12 switch to the OFF position. To locate the system maintenance switch bank, see the server user guide on the Hewlett Packard Enterprise website.
