Symptom

253-IMPORTANT: The PCI-e Device installed in Slot X has no corresponding processor installed and will not function. Action: Move the PCI-e Device to another slot or install Processor Y.

Solution 1

Cause

A PCIe device is installed in an unsupported slot.

Action

Remove the PCIe device, and then install it in another supported slot.
