HPE Persistent Memory module memory health errors

Symptom

An error message displays, indicating a memory health error that indicates the following:

  • The HPE Persistent Memory module is approaching the end of its usable wear leveling.

  • The HPE Persistent Memory module has experienced a critical error and may no longer be operational.

  • The HPE Persistent Memory module has experienced an issue and is no longer resilient.

Cause
An HPE Persistent Memory module is reporting a nonhealthy health status due to one of the following:
  • Low number or no available spare blocks

  • Package sparing

  • A critical internal failure

Action
  1. Review the Integrated Management Log for events related to the error, and follow any recommended actions.
  2. Back up any data stored on the persistent regions of the HPE Persistent Memory module.
  3. If the issue persists, open a support case using the Hewlett Packard Enterprise Support Center website (https://www.hpe.com/support/hpesc).

  4. If the issue persists, replace the HPE Persistent Memory module.
