Symptom

Errors occur after an application is installed on a server.

Action
  1. Verify the application log and operating system log for entries indicating why the software failed.
  2. Verify the system settings to determine if they are the cause of the error.

    You might need to obtain the settings from the server setup utility and manually set the software switches.

  3. Check for overwritten files.

  4. Reinstall the application.
  5. Be sure you have the most current drivers.
