Symptom

313-HP Smart Storage Battery X Failure – Battery Shutdown Event Code: XXXX. Action: Remove power. If issue persists, update iLO FW. If issue still persists, call HP service.

Cause

  • The HPE Smart Storage battery might lose charge when left shelved for long periods.

  • The HPE Smart Storage battery is degraded or has failed.

  • The iLO firmware is not the latest version.

Action
  1. Remove and then reinstall the server.
