Symptom

One or more components in the drive enclosure is reporting a temperature which exceeds the warning threshold. If any component in the drive enclosure exceeds the critical temperature threshold, the entire drive enclosure will be powered off to protect the components.

  1. Verify the following:

    • Drive enclosure drawer is closed.

    • Cooling vents are not blocked.

    • Sufficient fans are installed and operational.

    • Ambient air temperature is sufficient.

  2. Resolve any issues, and then power on the drive enclosure.
