Wireless Clients

This page lists all wireless clients connected to all WLANs.

Actions

  • Disassociate: Disconnects the selected wireless clients

Wireless clients table

For information on using table features to view and edit settings, see Working with tables.

  • MAC Address: MAC address of the wireless client.

  • IP Address: IP address assigned to the wireless client.

  • Username: Name with which the user logged in.

  • Access Point: Name of the AP to which the wireless client is connected.

  • Radio: Radio on the AP that the wireless client is using.

  • SSID: SSID to which the wireless client is connected.

  • Wireless Mode: Wireless mode in which the wireless client radio is operating.

  • Band: Band on which the wireless client radio is operating.

  • Authorized: Indicates if the wireless client has been authorized (Yes), or not (No).

  • Duration: Length of time that the wireless client has been authorized.

  • Signal (dBm): Strength of the radio signal received from the wireless client. Signal strength is expressed in decibel milliwatt (dBm). The higher the number the stronger the signal.

  • Noise (dBm): Amount of background noise that exists in the signal path between the wireless client and the AP. Noise is expressed in decibel milliwatt (dBm). The lower (more negative) the value, the weaker the noise.

  • SNR: The relative strength of the wireless client radio signals versus the radio interference (noise) in the radio signal path. In most environments, SNR is a good indicator for the quality of the radio link between the client station and the AP. A higher SNR value means a better quality radio link.
