Dedicated iLO management module option

To install the component:

1. Power down the server.
2. Remove all power:
   1. Disconnect each power cord from the power source.
   2. Disconnect each power cord from the server.
3. Do one of the following:
   • Extend the server from the rack.
   • Remove the server from the rack.
4. Remove the access panel.
5. Access the rear panel.
6. Using a flat screwdriver, toggle the knockout to loosen it, and then pull it out of the chassis.

   

7. If an expansion board is installed in the primary PCI riser cage, remove the board.
8. Install the dedicated iLO management module.

   

9. If removed, install the expansion board.
10. Install the access panel.
11. Do one of the following:
    • Slide the server into the rack.
    • Install the server into the rack.
12. Power up the server.
13. Enable the dedicated iLO connector.
