Remove drive cage assembly 1

1. Back up all server data on the drive.
2. Power down the server.
3. Disconnect all peripheral cables from the server.
4. Remove the server.
5. Place the server on a flat, level work surface.
6. Disconnect the intra-tray signal cable from the power expander board.

   

7. Remove all drives from drive cage assembly 2.
8. Remove drive cage assembly 2.
9. Disconnect and remove the drive cables connected to drive cage assembly 2.
10. Remove the accelerator cages.
11. Disconnect all accelerator cables from the power expander board.
12. Remove the upper server tray.
13. Remove the PCIe riser board assembly.
14. Disconnect all cables from the drive cage backplane.

    

15. Disconnect the front panel LED board assembly cables.

    

16. Remove all drives.
17. Remove drive cage assembly 1.
