The Block Storage Driver overview screen displays data in the General, Storage System Access, Details, and Utilization sections. See About the graphical user interface for additional information.
These fields are also used on the Add Block Storage Driver and the Edit Block Storage Driver screens.

FQDN/IP |
The fully qualified domain name or IP address of the block storage driver. |

User Name |
The user name of the 3PAR superuser. |

Password |
The user password (used when adding or editing a driver). To display the password, check the Show password box. |

Connect |
Connects to the 3PAR storage system to validate user credentials when adding or editing a driver. After the credentials are validated, the Details section is displayed.

Transport type |
The storage area network (SAN) data transfer standard (Fibre Channel or iSCSI) used by the volume type. |
Volume types |
The number of volume types associated with the block storage driver. Click the number to view more details on the Volume Types overview screen. See also Volume Types overview screen details. |
Block storage volumes |
The number of volumes allocated for each listed CPG. Click the number to view more details on the Volumes overview screen. See also Volumes overview screen details. |

Capacity |
The amount in terabytes (TB) of the Allocated capacity in use and the Total available capacity. For example, 23.2 allocated of 25 TB total. |
Host CPG summary |
A list of the common provisioning groups (CPG) available to the block storage driver. The list shows the Name of each CPG and its RAID level, Allocated capacity, Total capacity, associated Volume types, and associated Block storage volumes. |
The Add and Edit Block Storage Drivers screens display attribute fields for the General, Storage System Access, and Details. The screen expands with additional fields in response to initial selections.

Storage Domains |
Used to select a storage domain (a group of storage devices that share a common communication address). The default common provisioning group becomes active after a domain is selected.
If you edit a block storage driver, you must also edit the CPG of the associated volume type. See Edit Volume Types. |
