Security settings details screen

When you select Security > or select Security: Authentication, Directories, Certificate, or Public Key from the View menu, a Security settings details screen is displayed with more detailed security information.

The following tables provide descriptions of the fields on the Security settings details screen.

Authentication details

Screen component Description
Authentication Indicates whether local login is enabled and the default directory.

Directories details

Screen component Description
Directories Lists directories that have been added.

Certificate details

Screen component Description
Cert common name (CN) Certificate common name. For a self-signed certificate, this is the fully qualified host name.
Issued by Issuer of the certificate. For a self-signed certificate, this is the fully qualified host name.
Valid from Date and time the certificate became valid.
Valid until Date and time when the certificate will cease to be valid.
Serial number Certificate's serial number.
Version Version number.
MD5 fingerprint The public key encoded using the MD5 Message-Digest Algorithm cryptographic hash function.
SHA1 fingerprint Public key encoded using the SHA-1 cryptographic hash function.
Required Information
Country, State or province, City or locality, Organization name The organization name and location.
Optional Information
Organizational unit Name of your department.
Alternative name Alternative name of the appliance.
Contact person Name of the person to contact.
Email address Email address of the contact person.
Surname Contact person's family name.
Given name Contact person's first name.
Initials Contact person's initials.
DN qualifier Text used to clarify ambiguity of the certificate recipient

Public Key details

Screen component Description
Public Key Click Display Content to display the public key content in a separate window.
