Cannot add user

Symptom

Cannot add user. The user name already exists.

Cause

The value sent in the USER_NAME parameter already exists in the user table.

Action

Resend the command using a unique value in the USER_NAME parameter. The user name:

• Can be any combination of printable characters up to a maximum length of 39 characters.
• Is not case sensitive.
• Must not be blank.
• Must be unique.
