{Enclosure name and bay number} cannot join the appliance cluster because it belongs to another cluster or is trying to form one. There can be only one appliance cluster managing the linked frames.

Cause

The peer appliance is not in a factory reset state.

Action
  1. Do one of the following:

    • If this appliance cluster is managing all the linked frames, perform a factory reset on the peer appliance using its maintenance console.

    • If the peer appliance cluster is managing all the linked frames, perform a factory reset on this appliance.

    • Unlink the frames so that each cluster is linked only to frames that it is managing.

  2. Check the specified deployment appliance for details, and then follow any recommended actions.
