{Volume} has presentations to WWPNs that are not granted by OneView

Symptom

{Volume} has presentations to WWPNs that are not granted by OneView. If the WWPNs are initiators in profiles managed by OneView but do not show these volumes attached to that profile, OneView may delete the zones when the last managed volume is removed. This could result in the loss of access to this volume for the managed initiator.

This alert is new in HPE OneView 3.1.

Action
  • Do one of the following:

    • Add the extra WWPNs to the OneView configuration and create or update the connection to the volume.

    • Click the link and select the option to have OneView remove the extra WWPN access.

    • Clear this alert to keep the extra access and enable OneView to ignore this configuration.

    • Manually remove the WWPNs from the storage system configuration and refresh the volume in OneView or wait for the automated refresh cycle.
