Riser board options
The server supports two PCIe riser cages that can be configured with different riser boards.
Primary PCIe riser cage
The primary PCIe riser cage supports installation of the following riser boards:
- Six-slot riser board with four x8, two x16, and two x8 Slimline NVMe connections.
- Seven-slot riser board with four x8 and three x16 connections.
- Four-port riser board with four x8 Slimline NVMe connections.
Butterfly PCIe riser cage (Secondary PCIe slot)
The butterfly PCIe riser cage supports installation of the following riser boards in the secondary PCIe slot:
- Six-slot riser board with four x8, two x16, and two x8 Slimline NVMe connections.
- Seven-slot riser board with four x8 and three x16 connections.
Butterfly PCIe riser cage (Tertiary PCIe slot)
The butterfly PCIe riser cage supports installation of a two-slot riser board with two x8 connections in the tertiary PCIe slot.
