Symptom

The iLO encountered a problem with the adapter in X.

This alert was updated in HPE OneView 5.2.

Action

Do the following, one at a time, until the issue is resolved:

  1. Reset the iLO using the server hardware iLO management interface, and then wait two minutes for the iLO reset to complete.
  2. Update the adapter firmware if it is not up-to-date.
    • If the server hardware is not in Unmanaged state, update the adapter firmware using HPE OneView.

    • Otherwise, boot into the Service Pack for ProLiant (firmware bundle) that is part of the HPE Synergy software release and update the firmware using Smart Update Manager (SUM).

  3. Replace the server hardware.
