Symptom

The server hardware does not have a valid UUID.

Severity: Critical

Action
  1. Use the remote console and reboot the server into UEFI System Utilities.

    To access System Utilities, press F9 during POST.

  2. On the System Utilities home screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Advanced Options > Advanced Service Options.
  3. Verify that the Serial Number and Product ID are set correctly. This information can be found on the server serial number/iLO information pull tab.
  4. If the value is incorrect or missing, set the appropriate value in BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU).

  5. Reboot the server.
  6. When the remote console messages indicate that the server is not longer in POST, refresh the server hardware.
