Symptom

Unable to establish trusted communication with the server. An unexpected exception occurred while negotiating the secure connection.

This alert was updated in HPE OneView 4.1.

Action

Perform the following operations one at a time until the problem is resolved:

  1. Retry the operation.
  2. Reset the iLO and retry the operation.
  3. Make sure that the iLO has a valid certificate installed, and add the iLO certificate into the HPE OneView trust store using the link provided.
  4. Verify network connectivity to the server using the Ping Tool (#/settings/ping).
  5. Check the network connection for congestion or errors.
