Symptom

The server iLO firmware version X must be updated to version Y to be managed. There is no SPP available, or no SPP contains the required iLO firmware version Y.

This alert was updated in HPE OneView 4.2.

Cause

  • The iLO firmware version does not meet minimum requirements.

  • An SPP was added or removed during the firmware update.

Action
  1. Add a firmware bundle that contains iLO firmware version Y or later.
  2. Alternatively, update the firmware from the iLO web UI.
  3. Retry adding the server.
