The drive in drive bay X is not an authentic drive

Symptom

The carrier for the drive in drive bay X has a communication fault. This drive is part of logical JBOD Y and is being used by server profile Z.

This alert is new starting with HPE OneView 4.2.

Action
  1. Remove and then reinstall the drive in the specified drive bay.
  2. Verify the drive status and volume integrity by using the Smart Storage Administrator:
    • If this drive is part of a non-fault-tolerant configuration, back up all data before replacing the drive, and then restore all data.
    • If this drive is part of a fault-tolerant configuration, do not replace this drive unless all other drives in the volume are online.
  3. If the issue persists, replace the drive.
