For uplink set X, ports {Y} are master trunk ports

Symptom

For uplink set X, ports {Y} are master trunk ports. A separate trunk has formed for each master trunk port with the trunk groups configured on the upstream switch.

This alert is new starting with HPE OneView 4.0.

Action
Do one of the following:

  • Edit the uplink set.

  • Configure the upstream switch to ensure that there is a one-to-one mapping between uplink sets, and the trunk groups configured on the upstream switch.

For optimal trunk performance, use a single trunk per uplink set that includes all ports.
