Symptom

The server hardware does not have a valid UUID.

Severity: Critical

Health Category: Operational

Action
  1. Use the remote console and reboot the server.
  2. To access System Utilities, press F9 during POST.
  3. On the System Utilities home screen, select System Configuration > BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU) > Advanced Options > Advanced Service Options.
  4. Verify that the Serial Number and Product ID are set correctly. This information can be found on the server serial number/iLO information pull tab.
  5. If the value is incorrect or missing, set the appropriate value in BIOS/Platform Configuration (RBSU).

  6. Reboot the server.
  7. When the remote console messages indicate that the server is not longer in POST, refresh the server hardware.
