Symptom

Cause

  • A drive is not installed correctly or has failed.

  • A cable is not installed correctly or has failed.

  • External storage enclosures might be powered off.

Action
  1. Power down the server.
  2. Verify that the cables are connected.

  4. While the system is off, cycle power to any external enclosures.
  5. Power up the server.
