581-Persistent Memory Integrity Check initiated

Symptom

581-Persistent Memory Integrity Check initiated on system. This operation can take several minutes.

Cause

The system firmware lacks a complete log of uncorrectable persistent memory errors to present to the operating system. To ensure that a complete list is available to the OS, an integrity check has been initiated on all persistent memory in the system.

This error can be caused by one of the following:
  • The Persistent Memory Address Range Scrub option was disabled.

  • Persistent memory errors occurred before they could be handled by the system.

Action
Allow the integrity check to complete before booting to the operating system.
