Installation guidelines

When installing the storage blade, observe the following guidelines:

  • Install drives in the storage blade before installing the storage blade in the enclosure.

  • Be sure that the partner server blade is powered down or not installed before installing the server blade.

Onboard Administrator is used to configure the enclosure and the storage blade. To function with the storage blade, Onboard Administrator version 4.85 or later is required.
